About

PARAFLIP started the same way a lot of companies start, with a passion, in my case a passion for pinball.

I’m a pinball enthusiast with a background in electronics and software, and after stepping away from corporate work, I wanted to build something fun. I kept seeing pinball streaming rigs that worked, but felt fragile, overly complex, or unnecessarily expensive. Companies make amazing pinball machines (cough Jurassic Park cough), why can't we make an amazing streaming rig? So, I built the rig I wished existed.

My goal was simple. Allow people to stream high quality pinball faster, easier, cheaper, and more reliably than fighting OBS with janky rigs. I want this to work for the whole community, that individual home streamer, the barcade, and yes those whopper tourneys. No mystery wiring, weird hacks, or toolboxes. Just gear that is purpose built to be plug and play so you can play a game or chat with friends rather than sit behind a laptop wondering why the stream keeps going down.

PARAFLIP is based in Boulder, Colorado - home to an absurdly strong pinball scene. Wherever possible, parts are designed, manufactured, and assembled locally, with electronics sourced from trusted partners. Every decision is driven by setup sanity, durability, and long-term support, not cutting corners for margin.

This rig exists because I spent too much time and money figuring out what not to do. And we are not done. If there’s a feature you want, a pain point you’re hitting, or a fun adjacent idea (yes, arcade machines count), I want to hear about it.
